Need a Final Communication Plan for a company in crisis, Pelaton in this case.
I already wrote the Strategy Memo for a previous assignment and this final plan should be related.
– I am applying to NYU’s master’s professional studies program in public and corporate
communications. My undergraduate degree is in elementary education, and I also have a minor in social work. I eventually plan to use this degree as an add-on to my education degree in
advocating and supporting the needs of students in low-income neighborhoods. You can
continue to add to this as you please.
Just some background information on me. My bachelor’s degree is in elementary education with a minor in social work

Part 1: Rating
For this assessment, you will apply your developing skills with verbal and non-verbal communication to evaluate and provide feedback and then reflect on the speaker’s methods. To complete this assessment, you will watch the two following TedTalk presentations. • TedTalk 1: Bill Gates: Mosquitos, Malaria and Education
• TedTalk 2: Jamie Oliver: Teach Every Child About Food
You may find it necessary to view each presentation twice—once to assess the verbal communication and a second time to assess the non-verbal communication. You may find assessing the non-verbal communication easier to assess by turning the volume down on the video and watching rather than listening.
Use the Verbal and Non-Verbal Messaging Essay Template provided to rate each speaker and to provide feedback on the aspects of verbal and nonverbal communication. The template is provided on a separate document in Blackboard. Part 2: Essay
In a multi-paragraph essay (minimum 250 words), use your notes and ratings from the table to compare and contrast the two TedTalk presentations. There is space provided at the bottom of the table on the template. Include the answers to the following questions:
• Describe each speaker’s verbal and non-verbal communication.
• Compare and contrast the strengths and weaknesses of each speaker and their communication.
• Explain what aspects of each speaker’s verbal and non-verbal communication you believe will be helpful when you are delivering a presentation.
Before submitting your final document, use the proofreading and editing skills you have developed to ensure clarity as well as grammatical and structural correctness.
Carefully review how Apple handled Steve Jobs’ illness in their public communications, as outlined Gower, Chapter 3, and the additional reading.
In the discussion questions section at the end of Gower Chapter 3, answer the stated questions in writing:
Do you think Jobs’ health condition was a material fact that should have been disclosed? Or was it indeed a private matter?
Was not disclosing the information ethically correct?
How might you have advised Apple to handle the issue?
While fully answering the questions, make sure to cite your source material from Gower, Chapter 3, and any other course content, using APA in-text citations.
This is a research-based assignment, not opinion based. Make sure to complete the assigned reading first and cite course content using APA in-text citations.
